A Bm A G A VERSE Bm This light at the end of the day A When even the highways seem still G A The map in my hands folded shut Bm There isn't one magical word A But a carnival of them instead G A Like an old, silent cinema screen Bm In this light you are framed classically A Just a painting that hangs in my head G A That I know like the back of my hand Bm And with the sun set, the neon awakes A And the cold colours dance on your skin G Finally the modern makes sense to me [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/t/tired-pony/290514.html ] CHORUS A You're effortless, you know you are Bm And all I want to do A G Is let you lead me off into the dusk A Our shadows kiss before we do Bm Right here in the dark A G A I revel in the calm before the storm VERSE Bm The garden is haunted by us A And every mistake that we've made G A Is at peace coz it led us both here Bm The thought that just burns into me A Of you in the ink of the night G Is the breath-taking danger of you CHORUS A You're effortless, you know you are Bm And all I want to do A G Is let you lead me off into the dusk A Our shadows kiss before we do Bm Right here in the dark A G I revel in the calm before the storm A This is life Bm This is all I want from life A G It's the fervour and the tenderness combined.
