This is my interpretation of this gorgeous, heartbreaking tune. The original guitar are a bit weird if you wanna play it and sing a long so I made a tab for strumming/picking. actually think the 4th chord sounds better as an C#m instead of E during the verses, but like the sound of the open string there and they are relative major/minor anyway, really make a big difference. Hope you like it. It sounds good to me but please comment you have anything to add! A C#m F# E Sorrow found me when I was young A C#m F# E Sorrow waited, sorrow won A C#m F# E Sorrow they put me on the pill A C#m F# It's in my honey it's in my milk E A C#m Don't leave my hyper heart alone F# On the water E A C#m F# Cover me in rag and bones, sympathy E A C#m F# Cause I don't wanna get over you E A C#m F# I don't wanna get over you E (for one extra measure) [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/t/the-national/250273.html ] A C#m F# E Sorrows my body on the waves A C#m F# E Sorrows the girl inside my cake A C#m F# E I live in a city sorrow build A C#m F# It's in my honey, it's in my milk E A C#m Don't leave my hyper heart alone F# On the water E A C#m F# Cover me in rag and bones, sympathy E A C#m F# Cause I don't wanna get over you E A C#m F# I don't wanna get over you E A C#m Don't leave my hyper heart alone F# On the water E A C#m F# Cover me in rag and bones, sympathy E A C#m F# Cause I don't wanna get over you E A C#m F# I don't wanna get over you Same chords during the "choir" parts, stay on E for an extra measure and then end on A. |
