Hey guys! This is a really killer song based off of a simple 12 bar blues progression. Ive edited and reposted the other tab to make the appropriate corrections, unfortunatly have no idea who the original author of the tab is, so credit should really go to him most of it...he just had one chord half wrong! (key of E major has F#s) Just so its clear, F#5 is a power chord on F# or the second fret of the low E string for tab guys! You CAN use F#m instead but i find the power chord sounds a little more authentic here it is! -Tristan E A all alone again E A he woke up screaming here E A B he needs more oxygen to breathe (B) A E help him up hold him down (E) A like a freight train E A it's bearing down again E A B he's got holy water in his lungs A help him up Chorus F#5 A if that's how it's gonna be E B wake me up wake me up F#5 A pump me full of meds E B don't let me drink from that cup F#5 A E slide a little pill down my throat B F#5 i'll try to keep it down A B or pull my plug and don't be frightened by the sound Pre-verse E A E A E A B A Verse [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/t/the-loved-ones/186752.html ] E A seventy and ten E A outlived the best of men E A B he wants to see his little kids again A help him up E A but in all his years E A the pain's never been this severe E A B now he's spiraling in fear A hold him down Chorus F#5 A if that's how it's gonna be E B wake me up wake me up F#5 A pump me full of meds E B don't let me drink from that cup F#5 A E slide a little pill down my throat B F#5 i'll try to keep it down A B or pull my plug and don't be frightened by the sound Solo E...E E E B A E E B A C# B E A E E B A Chorus F#5 A if that's how it's gonna be E B wake me up wake me up F#5 A pump me full of meds E B don't let me drink from that cup F#5 A E slide a little pill down my throat B F#5 i'll try to keep it down A B or pull my plug and don't be frightened by the sound A B or pull my plug and don't be frightened by the sound (End on E) |
