Pantomime Horse
Intro
E A B A G A B A G
(arpeggiate gently; A = xx7655, B = xx9877, etc. Add 2nd on top string
while picking. See below for more detail).
E C
I was born as a pantomime horse,
D
ugly as the sun when he falls to the floor
E C
I was cut from the wreckage one day,
D
this is what I get for being that way
A B A G
Well, did you ever, did you ever go round with them?
A B A G
Well, did you ever, did you ever go round the bend?
A
during chorus: --------5h7p5------ move up 2 frets during B chord
----5h7-------7---- move down 2 frets during G chord
-4/6--------------- (This is similar to the guitar
------------------- during the intro!)
-------------------
-------------------
E Esus4 C
I was conned by a circus hand
D
Tragic as the son of a superman
E Esus4 C
"I would die for the stars" she said
D
this is what I get for my beautiful head
Repeat Chorus, then.....
E D E (hold) C D E

-----3-2-0----------------------------3-----3-----7---------------
bend... ever tried it that way..(etc.)
A
------------------------------------
-8----------------------------------
---9-7-----------------------------
-------9-7-------------repeat, etc. Fade....
-----------9-7----------------------
------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Drowners
Intro: A (5fr) | D (5fr) | C (3fr) | E
The E is picked out approximately;
e----------------------------0----------
-------------------------------0-------
---------------------1-----------------
-----2------------------2--------------
--------2--0--------------2------------
E ---0--------------0-------------------
Chorus (pick the chords):
G (3fr) | B (2fr) | C (3fr) | D (5fr)
for the last C chord bend the middle three strings up one semitone.
Note that when playing the chords don't stick exactly to a rigid shape.
Eg for C
e---------------------------
---------------------------
---------------5-p5-------- etc.
----------3-h5-------------
----3-h5-------------------
E --------------------------
This is very approximate and I can't for the life of me
remember now how the break goes. Just remember that if you
tune down then the chords for a song like Moving are just
standard shapes with an extra note or two picked out for
interest.
