Yeah, I know it's a cheesy song, but I was having fun playing the
chords the other night, so I thought I'd post it. I don't even
remember who did this song back in the 70's. (So why dontcha put
it in the "Various_Artists" directory when you archive it, James.)
DON'T IT MAKE MY BROWN EYES BLUE (Richard Leigh)

Am C/G D7/F# D7

F Em7 F G7
And don't it make my brown eyes blue

Am Em7 F C
Give me no reasons, give me alibis
Am Em7 F C

Dm7 Em F F/G
Say anything but don't say goodbye
I didn't mean to treat you bad
Didn't know just what I had
But honey now I do
F Em7 F Em7
And don't it make my brown eyes, don't it make my brown eyes
F F/G C Am Dm7 G7
Don't it make my brown eyes blue.
[Repeat the last four measures for as long as you want, then end on C
or play the intro over and over and then end on C.]
Here's a little bit of tab for the intro; the spacing/timing is CORRECT.
Fill in your own chords and bass and hammer-ons and stuff...
