Hello boys 'n' girls. Alright this is my first tab ever so don't be pissed if it sucks... Last night I noticed how very few P.W. tabs there were. So I raged and broke stuff... when I realized that I'd have to write down the chords myself. My goal is to have every (and probably every EP) by Wolf tabbed. So The Magic Position gets the privilege to be first one, even though it's not the best... But it's still fucking awesome :D. Please note that many of the songs on this album were already tabbed. I've gone through tabs, and used the correct ones here. I'm going to give links to the original tabs as well. The Magic Position. 1. Overture 2. The Magic Position 3. Accident & Emergency - Ben Hillier Mix 4. The Bluebell 5. Bluebells 6. Magpie 7. The Kiss * 8. Augustine 9. Secret Garden * 10. Get Lost 11. Enchanted 12. The Stars 13. Finale * *=These songs are instrumental only. Most is played on laptop or violin, so there will no chords for these songs. Please note that I've written this mainly for guitar, piano and ukulele. If you're ukulele, please tune it G - C - E - A. Also if you're playing the ukulele, don't own a capo or don't have a transpose button on piano, there will be transposed versions of Augustine and Magpie after the last song. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Overture Perfect for beginners! The same riff goes through the whole song. [Main Riff] Dm - F - C - G It's wonderful what a smile can hide If the teeth shine right and it's nice and wide It's so magical what you can keep inside And if you bury it deep no one can find a thing, n So come on now, open wide, open up now. Don't you think i's time To look back at that boy on his way to school Such a heavy heart, such a heavy jewel Hiding something that one day he'll sell But now if no one shows, no one tells a thing, no So come on love, open wide, open up now Don't you think it's time Now after all these years, you are at last opening Was it worth all that war, just to win? So caught up in the speed of the days in your sin Don't forget how the story begins no Don't forget now Now I'm seeing all your lovers and enemies They've been turning their keys so full of need All trying to see that jewel you keep What makes it shine, what makes it mine? But I don't care Just come on now, open wide Open up now There's so much love for what you'll find But what will you find? Now after all these years, you are at last opening Was it worth all that war, just to win? If it was, can you take me back to where it begins? Come and take me back to where it begins Come and take me back to where it begins Come on, open wide and let some light in Let us in Let us in ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. The Magic Position (All taken from: http://www.911tabs.com/link/?6184694) The chords in brackets are what the bass plays in between each chord, it still sounds if you don't include them. The Stars *One "riff", or progression, is used in a big part of the song. Listen to song, and understand how and when to play it. I'll just call it [Main riff] in the tab. If you it hard you can just play Am7. In the beginning of the song there's a cute little melody, is repeated quite a lot in the song. I've tried to replace that little melody with F - Am - F - Am progression. If you find the main riff hard, you can replace it with the - Am - F - Am Progression. Please note that this song was extremely hard to tab, since there are loads of sounds melodies going on at the same time. These chords can be used to get a very simple acoustic of the song, but don't expect it to sound just like the original) Main riff: Am-Am7, Am-Am7, Am-Asus-Am. e |--3---3---3--------| B |-1---1---1---1-3-1-| G |-2---2---2---2-2-2-| D |-2---2---2---2-2-2-| A |-------------------| E |-------------------| Intro: F - Am - F - Am x2 F Am F Am (I saw, I saw the stars tonight F Am F Am Mama, I saw the stars tonight) F Am F Am Mama, I saw the stars tonight F Am F Am Orion, the plough, the burning bright F Am F Am Cannot recall where I drove F Am F Am An empty lane, the lonely road Dm Dm - G G - F Am Home Play [Main Riff] one time without vocals.
