Tabbed 14/9/09 by Jeremy Salwen. My first tab! Here is Parry Gripp's song "A Smile Can Save the World" I may have missed faintly spoken prepositions in the lyrics, but besides that it should all be accurate. Pluck c and g several times back and forth for the intro. C G A Smile can save the world. Am my friend. F C A smile, just like a circle, G never ends. C G A smile can save the world. Am Em It's truuuuuuuuuuue. F C Cause when you give a smile, Am G C that smile comes back to you. Am Em There's a man outside your window. Am Em He's sleeping on the street. F C Won't you go out there and hug him, F G and give him some candy to eat! [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/p/parry-gripp/197469.html ] A smile can save the world. my friend. A smile, just like a circle, never ends. A smile can save the world. It's truuuuuuue. Cause when you give a smile, that smile comes back to you. There's a world outside your window. It's full out doubt and fear. Won't you go out there and give your love and smile from ear to ear Guitar solo uses the same chords as the chorus, then it switches to Alternating between F and C while the Leprikins repeat “smile”. Then it switches the up a step, and now it's in D, and it repeats the chorus. When it's done with that it repeats the first half of the chorus again, still in D. Here are the chords for reference: First half: D A/ Bm /G D/ A Second half: D A/ Bm F#m/ G D/ Bm A D/ The only thing that is different is that it adds on an extra “It never ends” at the end of the song which returns to D on the “ends”. If you listen at the end, you can hear him walk to turn of the recording! |
