Hey guys. This is my first tab, and I'm not fantastic at listening to music and knowing chords are what, but hopefully I did this one right because "Turn Me On" is a great jazz song, and it's one of my favorites. It's also rather easy to play. If anyone thinks messed anything up, or I use stupid termanology (I'm mostly self-taught) send me a mail at , It'd be much appreciated. **Important **Some notes are full four count beats, some are half, so I'll put a "/" there's a half-beat to make the rythem a little easier to get. **also important** when you get to the third verse, and play the B7, it's an 8 count, times you play it. notes you might not know B7 - 021202 G7 - 320001 Am7 - 002010 Capo on the 3rd fret ( I use the standard tuning chord shapes just to make it easier) Intro G / C / G / D [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/n/norah-jones/137667.html ] G Like a flower G7 Waiting to bloom C Like a lightbulb G In a dark room Em Am7/ I'm just sitting here waiting for you D/ G / C / G / D To come on home and turn me on G G7 Like the desert waiting for the rain C G Like a school kid waiting for the spring Em Am7 Im just sitting here waiting for you D G To come on home and turn me on B7 My poor heart It's been so dark C G Since you've been gone B7 After all you're the one who turns me off C D You're the only one who can turn me back on G G7 My hi-fi is waiting for a new tune C G (only the top 4 strings) My glass is waiting for some fresh ice cubes Em Am7/ I'm just sitting here waiting for you D/ G / D / G To come on home and turn me on, turn me on Enjoy, I hope it's right! |
