Colours of the wind (From the movie "Pocahontas")

This is the key I play in. If you want to play in the same key as the movie
you can either tune your guitar one half step down or use the transpose function.
If you use the transpose function I would recommend you to transpose down 5 half steps
and then put a capo on fret 4.

    D5 C/D
You think I'm an ignorant savage
           D5 C/D
And you've been so many places, I guess it must be so
      Bb Am Bb Am
But still I cannot see, If the savage one is me
     Dm Bbmaj7 A5
How can there be so much that you don't know?
              D Bm D Bm
You don't know ...

     D Bm
You think you own whatever land you land on
    D F#m
the earth is just a dead thing can claim
    Bm G
but i know every rock and tree and creature
      Em A Bm
has a life, has a spirit, has a name.
    D Bm
You think the only people who are people
          D F#m
are the people who look and think like you
    Bm G
but if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
             Em A D
you'll learn things you never knew you never knew.

Chorus:
         Bm F#m G
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
   Bm F#m
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
        G A D/F# Bm7
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
        G6/9 Bm7
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
        Em A9sus4 D Bm D Bm
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

And we are all connected to each other

We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain,
           G6/9 Bm7
