Hey guys, this is my first upload,hope you like it, only involves the chords G,C and D. ****************************************************************************************** Tom was born in 1942 With eyes of blue G And the doctors said that his birth was far too fast C His heart stopped twice But yet he survived As he took his first breathe G His mother took her last C And his father knew that he wasn't to blame G But he never quite looked at Tom the same after that C And he rarely spoke about her D But when he did G He said your mother used to say this C "When the skies are looking bad my dear C And your heart has lost all it's hope C After dawn there will be sunshine G And all the dust will go G Skies will clear my darling G I'll wake up with the one I love the most C D And in the morning, I'll make you up G With some tea and toast" C When we met through a friend C Who introduced them C G The first thing Tom said was would you like to dance? C C They moved with each other and when the music got slower G He said don't let go of my hand C C He said It's only polite if I ask you tonight C G Would it be alright, if I could walk you home?
