I've been trying to find a tab for this song everywhere but haven't found the right one. Instead I decided to mess around on my guitar a bit and try to find the right chords by ear. Here is what I came up with. (Note that this may or may not be 100% correct.) Feel free to leave comments/suggestions below. Strumming: It is easier to pick up the strumming pattern by listening to the song while playing. Chords: G C Dsus Em e|--3--|--3--|--3--|--3--| B|-----|--1--|--3--|-----| G|-----|-----|--2--|-----| D|-----|--2--|-----|--2--| A|--2--|--3--|-----|--2--| E|--3--|-----|-----|-----| Intro: G Dsus C G Em C G Dsus It seems the more we talk C G The less I have to say Em C Let's put our differences aside G Dsus I wanted to make you proud C G But I just got in your way Em C I've found a place that I can hide Dsus Now everything is changing Em But I still feel the same Dsus We're running out of time G Dsus C What do I have to do? G G Dsus C To try to make you see? G Em That this is who I am C And it's all that I can be? G Dsus I tried to find myself C G Looking inside your eyes Em C You're all that I wanted to be [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/l/lifehouse/271792.html ] G Dsus There must be something else C G Behind all the lies Em C That you wanted me to believe Dsus Now everyone is saying Em That I should find a way Dsus To leave it all behind G Dsus C What do I have to do? G G Dsus C To try to make you see? G Em That this is who I am C And it's all that I can be? G Dsus C What do I have to do? G G Dsus C To try to make you see? G Em Trying to be like you C G Dsus Isn't good enough for me. C G Dsus I won't let you go C G Dsus I won't let you down C G Dsus I won't give you up C G Dsus Don't you give up on me now G Dsus C What do I have to do? G G Dsus C To try to make you see? G Em That this is who I am C And it's all that I can be? G Dsus C What do I have to do? G G Dsus C To try to make you see? G Em Trying to be like you Dsus C Isn't good enough for me. [For the rest of the song after the lyrics have finished, the chords repeatedly change from Dsus to C to the end. However, you can end the song in anyway you want to.] |
