'Kings Of Leon'
'Milk'
From 'Aha Shake Heartbreak'
Tabbed by Bartus23Bg
Great song, pretty simple. Outro part for Lead is a little more difficult.
I've seen them playing it at 'Live at the O2, London' footage, so I'm 100% sure it's correct.
Caleb - Rhythm Guitar (Acoustic at album version, clean electric live)
Matthew - Lead Guitar (Distorted electric, mostly palm muted)
Intro & Verses 1,2 - Rhythm Guitar
This part is something Caleb plays live before an actual intro, it's different almost every time.
Usually it's like this:
e|----------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------|
A|-10-10-10s9-9--9--9s10-10-10-10s9-9--9--7s10--|
E|-7--7--7s5--5--5--5s7--7--7--7s5--5--5--5s7---|
Then he goes to this riff, which he plays all over verses:
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--9---9---9---9---9---9---9---9---|
E|--7---7---7---7---9---9---9---9---5---5---5---5---5---5---5---5-----|

Right before Chorus, riff goes like this:
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10--9---9---9---9---9---9---9-------|

Chorus 1
Both guitar come in with the drums.
They basically slide the two top fingers of G chord (32xxxx).
Caleb plays the same pattern as in verses:

When drums stop, he plays this, also different lots of times.

Lead Guitar
Matthew plays it palm muted, and he stops with the drums stopping.

Verse 3
Lead Guitar
Matthew plays this part without muting, he stars right after Caleb's Chorus ending.

B|--------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------|
D|--------0-----2----4--4--2--0----0----|
A|--0--2-----2-------------------2------|
E|--------------------------------------|

B|-----------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------------|
D|--------0-----2----4--4--2--0----0s2s4---|
A|--0--2-----2-------------------2---------|
E|-----------------------------------------|
You can play it like that, or play first part twice, Matt changes it on live gigs.
At the time of 'I called and I called, but i can't get through...',
he plays this, palm muted. It's actually half of his Outro riff.
e|-----------------------------|
B|-----------------------------|
G|--x-7-x-4-x-7--4--7s9~-------|
D|-----------------------------|
A|-----------------------------|

D|-----------------------------|

E|-----------------------------|
Rhythm Guitar - same as Verses, including the 'right before Chorus riff'.
Chorus 2
It's just Chorus 1 played that - Riff, Riff, Caleb's Ending.
Outro
Lead Guitar
Mathew plays it palm muted, clean at the studio version, distorted when they play it live.

Rhythm Guitar
Caleb plays the Outro same as Verses,
at the end of live performance he plays something like that,
it's gettin' more quiet, it's hard to hear:

G|--------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------|
A|----10--10--10--10--10--10--10--10----9-----|
