"Goodbye" - Kesha Sebert, 2002 Chords transcribed by Gemma Seymour-Amper, 4 October 2012 I came across this song recently, and thinking it was brilliant, looked up the chords here only to find that of the six available versions, every single one of them is wrong, particularly about the bridge section, so I thought I'd add my two cents. Sadly, there aren't any videotaped versions of this that I've seen, so I'm not exactly sure how close this is to what's being played on the recording, but it's close, that much I do know, for a simplified version. I have done my best to indicate the proper rhythm of the chord changes, so pay attention to where chords are notated slightly before or after a syllable of the lyric. Hopefully, my markup will survive the submission process correctly. Enjoy! D A Cadd9 G The hope is fading from my lips D A Cadd9 G When I kiss you with goodbye D A Cadd9 G Now when you let go of our last embrace D A Cadd9 G Please don't look me in the eyes G A (The) secret's out G A That I just might care about you G You broke me A You're leaving G A There's nothing I can do... I can't tell you how many songs in which I've used this trick, because it produces such lovely sounds. The chord names are those reported by Guitar Toolkit iOS app, but it doesn't distinguish between the two forms of Asus4, so I have added a (#1) and (#2). Asus4(#1) - x.0.0.2.3.0 Asus2sus4 - x.0.0.4.5.0 Dmaj9/A - x.0.0.6.7.0 A7sus4- x.0.0.7.8.0 Asus4(#2) - x.0.0.9.10.0 Em (Am form, barred at the 7th fret) - x.7.9.9.8.7 Asus4(#1) Asus2sus4 Dmaj9/A A7sus4 Asus4(#2) Do I ever cross your mind?
