Jesper Kyd - Ezios Family tab

From Assassin's Creed II
This is all in standard tuning.

Guitar One- start silent and grow louder. Just repeat the pattern over and over
throughout the song. it's steady eights notes.
e-------------------------------------|
b------3-----3---------3-----3--------|
b----------2--2------------2---2------|
d---0----3------3----0---3-------3--0-|
a-------------------------------------|
E-------------------------------------|

Guitar Two- the first part you hear
e-------1--3--5------1--3--1-|
b----3-------------3---------|
g----------------------------|
d----------------------------|
a----------------------------|
E----------------------------|

then it goes into
Guitar Three-
e-----------------------------|
b--------6--8--10------6--8--6|
g-----7-------------7---------|
d-----------------------------|
a-----------------------------|
E-----------------------------|

Now another guitar in the background kicks in

Guitar Four-
e--1--11--1111--|      e--1--1111-1-1-|
b--3--33--3333--|  x3  b--3--3333-3-3-|  x4
g--2--22--2222--|      g--0--0000-0-0-|
d--0--00--0000--| d--0--0000-0-0-| and repeat through the whole thing
a---------------|      a--3--3333-3-3-|
E---------------|      E--------------|

There's a voice- she's just singing the main melody but changes the end
e-------------------------------------------------------|
b--------6--8--10------6--8--6--------------------------| x4 and then right after
g-----7-------------7---------| straight into--------| that last note go
d-------------------------------------------------------|
a-----------------------------|    e---10---13--15--17--|
E-------------------------------------------------------|

This is where a violin comes in- the timing is sort of difficult but if you listen
to the song you'll figure it out. This may not be entirely right but it's fairly close.

       the voice comes in for a moment here
                         +
e-5--10--10----5-5-6-5---+---------------------------------------10-------13-10-10------------|
b------------------------+-8-10-8-10-6-8-10--11-10--11-10------10---10-11-----------10--------|
g------------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------10-----|
d------------------------+----------------------------------12---------------------------10-9-|
a------------------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------|
E------------------------+--------------------------------------------------------------------|

Now everything but Guitar One stops and an acoustic comes in
Bro tip- Throw in some slides, like from five to the seven
e----------------------------------------|
b------------6--8--10-------------6--8--6|
g---[5/]--7--------------[5/]--7---------|
d----------------------------------------|   x5
a----------------------------------------|
E----------------------------------------|

During this- Guitar Four fades in again
Then a violin comes in playing Guitar One's part
along Guitar two

A bunch of violins play the main melody [guitar two] so it's pretty loud now and that
acoustic bit with the slides isn't as prominent

Now at around- 2:44 a distorted guitar kicks in with a power chord-
e-----------|                     e-------|            e------|
b-----------|                     b-------|            b------|
g---3-------| hold for a measure g-------| hold again g------| and this just fades out
d---3-------|                     d---5---|            d--0---|
a---1-------|                     a---5---|            a--0---|
E-----------|                     E---5---|            E--0---|

Guitar Two is the most prominent now-
[ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/j/jesper-kyd/274390.html ]
e-------1--3--5------1--3--1-|
b----3-------------3---------|
g----------------------------|   x2
d----------------------------|
a----------------------------|
E----------------------------|

The distorted guitar comes in again

~~~~~~~
e-----------|                     e-------|            e------|
b-----------|                     b-------|            b------|
g---7-------| hold for 2 measures g-------| hold again g--3---| and again
d---5-------|                     d---5---|            d--5---|
a---5-------|                     a---5---|            a--5---|
E-----------|                     E---5---|            E------|
e-----------|                     e-------|            e------|
b-----------|                     b-------|            b------|
g---3-------|  hold               g-------| hold       g------| hold
d---3-------|                     d---5---|            d--0---|
a---1-------|                     a---5---|            a--0---|
E-----------|                     E---5---|            E--0---|
~~~~~~~

Do that ^ twice and at the very end add-

e----------|
b----------|
g--2-------|
d--2-------| let this fade out as everything else does
a--0-------|
E----------|

so all that's left playing is the guitar two part with the slides
e----------------------------------------|
b------------6--8--10-------------6--8--6|
g---[5/]--7--------------[5/]--7---------|
d----------------------------------------| and repeat until it fades out
a----------------------------------------|
E----------------------------------------|

And that's it.
Sorry if it was difficult to understand.

There is an alternative to Guitar Four which sounds a lot better but it's a lot more complex

You would just use this in place of guitar four.

bro tip- instead of making your fingers run all over the frets, creating a build up of
lactic acid and probably cramping your hand- use the chords I've separated the parts into

Here they are [not sure if I got the names right but the numbering there is good for sure]

D major |  D susp. 4th   |...idk I'll call it Matt |   C   |  B major
e--1--  |   e--3--       |         e--5--          | e--1- |  e--0-|
b--3--  |   b--3--       |         b--6--          | b--3- |  b--3-|
g--2--  |   g--2--       |         g--7--          | g--0- |  g--2-|
d--0--  |   d--0--       |         d--0--          | d--2- |  d--2-|
