Great song, I usually use bar chords but it works either way. The only part I'm not sure about is the bridge but it sounds pretty good to me. Intro: C F D G Verse 1: C F I'd swim across an ocean it my mattress in the basement D G I'm sweating out excuses that would make your stomach turn C F The road we drove last night stretched from the desert to Las Vegas D G We filled our cups and lit one up the snow began to burn [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/j/jacks-mannequin/79536.html ] Chorus: C E F C Oh maybe we were made, we were made for eachother G F Ohhh Ohh C E F C Is it possible that the world could look this way forever G F G C G Ohhhh Ohhhhhh Verse 2: same chords as Verse 1 I talk so much I'm sure I didn't realize I've gone crazy Didn't catch my bloody nose or that my heart tried to explode I still live with my high school friends some people never change at all We're still the same compulsive drunks we were when we were small. Chorus (see above) Bridge: C F D I'm lonely (I'm lonely) from the firework days G But I still like to burn, burn, burn C F D I'm always (I'm always) in the haze of a car crash G C F The orange airbag dust covers everything G C Oh everything. Chorus Either continue on to Part 2 or end on C. |
