In my version of this Jack Johnson, I use a capo instead of tuning to B, the sound exactly alike and you can even play along to the song. :) Capo 4th Fret Tabbed by AlecAlmuina Intro: C G x2 C G D To play the intro like he does, use this tab throughout the song. C G C G D e-3--0--------|--3--0------------| --2--2--2-------------| B-0--0--0--3--|--0--0--0--3--1--0| --3--3--3-------------| G-0--0-----0--|--0--0-----0--0--0| --2--4--2-------------| D-2--2-----0--|--2--2-----0--0--0| --0--0--0-------0-----| A-3--3-----2--|--3--3-----2--2--2| --0--0--0--0h2-----2p0| E-0--0-----3--|--0--0-----3--3--3| x2 ----------------------| Last chord of the 1st measure gets played for 2 beats. Each chord get 2 strokes. (except for the last of the 1st measure) <---- If that's too confusing listen to the song. (You'll understand (: ) Tip: Make an open position C-Chord shape, take of your 1st finger, and use your pinky reach high notes. (2nd measure) Tip 2: To avoid changing positions use fingers 2, 3, 4 to make the G-Chord Tip 3: When playing the 3rd measure (the part that starts with D) reach your pinky to play the 2--4--2 on the G-String. After each D, you can play this. e--------------| B--------------| G--------------| D------0-------| A-0h2-----2p0--| E--------------| C G Back when all my little goals seemed so important C G Every pot of gold fill and full of distortion C G Heaven was a place still in space not in motion [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/j/jack-johnson/375444.html ] D But soon C I got you G I got everything C I’ve got you G I don’t need nothing C More than you G I got everything D I’ve got you C We went walking through the hills G Tryin’ to pretend that we both know C Maybe if we save up G We can build a little home C But then the hell storm came and yelled, G D “You need to let go, you’ve got no control.
