I've seen the other two tabs, and it's pretty annoying in my opinion that they make the mistake of confusing a F# minor with a F# major chord. The rest was pretty much correct, also well noted was that all the chords are played with bars, except the E chord. Most people will hear this difference easily, but still it's an unnecessary mistake. Therefore I decided to make my own tab, this time including the entire lyrics as well, so people can read and play. Hope you like it, and have fun! Intro: F#m A Bm E Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D F#m A Bm E Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D F#m A Bm E No drink no drugs no cigarettes no loose woman Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D because I'm weak F#m A Bm E well that's all fine for you to say but I'm too shy Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D to even speak F#m A Bm E I can't go out in the world without a little fire Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D in my soul F#m A it puts a fight into me Bm E Dmaj7 D you push me and I just can't let it roll Dmaj7 D E Bm D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D never learning nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A it gives me fire F#m D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D turning into nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A Bm E there was a time don't you forget when I was green Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D and you were red F#m A Bm E all boastful lies no great surprise what shit comes out of my drunken Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D head F#m A Bm E I met a woman that night she loved me for the stories that Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D I told F#m A Bm E but when the booze ran out my silence left her ring hand Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D E feeling cold (cold) [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/f/fiction-plane/298997.html ] Bm D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D never learning nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A it gives me fire F#m D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D turning into nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A you give me fire - Solo - : Bm D F#m A x3 Then: Bm D5 F#m A Bm no drinks no drugs no cigarettes E Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D nothing but silence caused by doubt F#m A Bm there was a good boy inside me E Dmaj7 D but the landlord tried to kick that good boy out Dmaj7 D E (that good boy out) Bm D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D never learning nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A it gives me fire F#m D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D turning into nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A you give me fire Bm D you give me fire F#m A you give me fire Bm D you give me fire F#m A you give me fire Bm D you give me fire F#m A you give me fire Bm D you give me fire F#m A you give me fire Bm D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D never learning nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m A it gives me fire F#m D5 F#m I don't know whether to drink or stay at home alone keeping out of trouble, A Bm D turning into nothing when I don't know I'm alive F#m ~~~~ you give me fire All the chords are bar chords, except for the E in the verse. However, at the end of a verse before the chorus, when you play Dmaj7 D Dmaj7 D E, that E is a bar ( so tabbed that would be x7999x, the left x being the low E) Hope you'll enjoy this, please rate this higher than the other two, since this one has the correct chords and beginners will hopefully be less confused and demotivated than they would be reading the other 2 tabs. Thanks, have a nice life! Please comment if you think something's wrong! |
