The Dreaming is a new band. After Stabbing Westward broke up, Christopher Hall,
lead singer, created this little project. They have an EP available that can be
ordered from their website:

This is a fairly simple song to learn. The chord progression is same throughout
the song. I'm pretty sure it is in Drop-D tuning, but it doesn't sound bad in
standard. You have to play the bridge and outro up an octave though.
Main chords:
Use these on the intro and chorus with some distortion. I hear a bit
of a slide down from the C to G, that is why I put it up on 10.
Dm Dm7 C G
E|--------------------------------------------------------------|

G|--7-------------------5---------------------------------------|
D|--7-------------------7---------10----------------\5----------|
A|--5-------------------5---------10----------------\5----------|
D|--------------------------------10----------------\5----------|
Add this on the intro and final chorus before the outro:

G|--------------------------------9h10p9-9--9h10p9-9------------|
D|--12----------------------------------------------------------|

D|--------------------------------------------------------------|
Verse:
This guitar part is in the second half of the first verse and all the
second verse. Play it with a wah effect:

This is played at the 2nd part of the bridge with some delay or some weird effect.
I think I can hear it faintly over the rest of the bridge and outro part also.

Lyrics
[Intro]
Burn...
Burn...
[1st Verse]
All my memories
Of a life forgotten,
The pictures, the letters that we wrote...
[enter verse guitar]
Are hidden in the dark,
Locked away forever,
Buried in a shoebox labeled burn.
[Chorus]
Let it burn...
Burn away the memories,
Let it burn...
Burn away the pain,
Let it burn...
'til there's nothing left but ashes,
Let it burn...
and the ashes blow away.
Let it burn...
[2nd Verse]
[verse guitar all the way through]
Some nights when it rains
I dig out your old pictures
And dance with memories sour now with age.
I wish I could let go
And walk out of this prison,
The shrine I have built around my pain.
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Let it burn...
Let it burn...
Let it burn...
[2nd Part of Bridge]
I cannot be free
until there's nothing left but ashes
of a shoebox labeled burn.
[Last Chorus]
[Outro]
Let it burn...
