Tuning: Standard CAPO I

Okay, so I'm going to post the chords to what I've figured out BUT not post
a picking pattern, as I'm not terribly good at picking/bass notes. But
nevertheless this sounds pretty authentic to some of the live, acoustic
versions they have done. Here are the chords relative to capo --

(CAPO I)
    A B9 Dsus2 F#m C#m E E7 D#dim (I think this is the correct name)
e|--0---x---0------2----4----0--0---x----|
B|--2---2---3------2----5----0--3---4----|
G|--2---2---2------2----6----1--1---2----|
D|--2---1---0------4----6----2--0---1----|
A|--0---2---x------4----4----2--2---x----|
E|--x---x---x------2----x----0--0---x----|

Intro: Dsus2 F#m A Dsus2 D#dim

A

                     B9 Dsus2 A
Oh Lou, I'd like to let you know that I do not feel welcome
A B9
All the birds, the trees, the falling snow
Dsus2 A
No, they were not made for me
A B9 Dsus2 A
And though this is where her heart resides, we met in California
A B9
She saw a city's promise reaching through my eyes,
Dsus2 A
And she turned her self away

Dsus2 A
Well how I curse that western skyline
Dsus2 A
And yet I thanked it for my start
Dsus2 F#m A Dsus2
Oh Lou, no my dreams did not come true
           D#dim A
  No, they only came apart

[ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/d/dawes/341828.html ]
A B9
So I followed her here to Birmingham,
Dsus2 A
where the soil is so much richer
A B9
And though my aching pride might guide my hand,
Dsus2 A
she did not ask for me to come
A B9
So I wait for her all through the day,
Dsus2 A
as if I wait for her surrender
A B9
And every time I get her to look my way,
Dsus2 A
she says I'm not where I belong

Dsus2 A
But I watch her father preach on Sundays
Dsus2 A
I know the hymnals all by heart
Dsus2 F#m A Dsus2
But oh Lou, no my dreams did not come true
           D#dim A
  No, they only came apart

C#m A E A Dsus2
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh
C#m A E A E
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh
C#m A E A Dsus2
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh
C#m A E A E E7
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh

A B9
All the snow fall this time of year,
Dsus2 A
it's not what Birmingham is used to
A B9
I get the feeling that I brought it here,
Dsus2 A
and now I'm taking it away

Dsus2 A
But let's share one more drink together,
Dsus2 A
before I go reload my car
Dsus2 F#m A Dsus2
And oh Lou, no my dreams did not come true
          D#dim A
  No they only came apart

C#m A E A Dsus2
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh (Take me home)
C#m A E A E
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh
C#m A E A Dsus2
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh
C#m A E A E
Ohhhh, oh oh oh oh

(End on E)
