Just saying in advance that I can't do guitar tabs so I'll put down the notes for what the bass is playing because I figured it out on piano. I've put what the bass guitar is playing with a * while the rest of the chords are just transitions that other instruments would play as well as the chords with the *s; if you just do an acoustic version, then disregard the stars and follow all of the chords. Hope this helps y'all! C* : C-C-C-G-C-G-A Am*: a-a-a-G-a-G-A ('a' as in lower a note, 'a' as in higher a note) F* : F-F-F-C-F-C-D Intro: C F G, Am F G C* F G Am* Do as I say, as I say F G (Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah) C* F G Am* Drive, drive into the desert F G (Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah) F* Am F Am7 You don't know why F You don't know why Instrumental: C* F G, Am* F G C* With his pretty wife F G Am* And the garden gnomes In the park at home F G He saw a UFO F* Maybe it's a death cloud G Maybe it's a death cloud F* Maybe it's a death cloud Maybe it's a death cloud Drum solo: F* [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/c/cloud-control/303982.html ] C* F G Am* Do as I say, as I say F G (Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah) C* F G Am* Hide, hide among the sand dunes F G (Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, Ooh ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah) F* You don't know why, Why, why why C* With his pretty wife F G Am* And the garden gnomes In the park at home F G He saw a UFO F* Maybe it's a death cloud G Maybe it's a death cloud F* Maybe it's a death cloud G Am F Maybe it's a death cloud ((Bass guitar just plays the root of chords here)) G You don't know why Em F (You don't know why) G You don't know why Em F (You don't know why) G You don't know why Em F (You don't know why) G You don't know why Em F (You don't know why) F G You don't know why F G F You don't know why C And I know why And I know why F Oh it's a pattern, baby It's a pattern, baby C And I know why And I know why F Oh it's a pattern, baby C It's a pattern, baby Outro: ((single notes again)) G-B-A-B-E-F-G During outro riff you can alternate between Am and C chords with each repeat you choose to do, ending the song with the C chord. |
