Second Dimension by Cliff Hillis http://www.cliffhillis.com/ This is a great song from Cliff Hillis, off of his 2001 release Be Seeing You. Lots of other good songs on there, I recommend that you pick up a copy (available from Not Lame Records.) I play using major bar chords, which sound pretty close to the record if you run your guitar through enough distortion. I can tell A# is the root of the second chord in the second half of the verse, but I can't quite make out what flavor of A# it is, so I usually just play that part of the verse on the lower three strings so that I don't have to define the chord as minor or major or 7th or whatever it legitimately is. Anyway, hope you enjoy the song! {Verse} B A E G F# You can make it out alive if you want to B A E G F# Have you ever been away from your bedroom B A# G# G A Are you living in a daze, does it seem so B A# G# G A Running circles in a maze, never can go {Chorus} E F# B A E the second dimension, is where you are with one eye closed E F# B A E G F# never to mention, where it is that time does go, so so [ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/c/cliff-hillis/96980.html ] {Verse} B A E G F# B A E G F# stealing paintings in the night from your own mind B A E G F# catch a picture of your life on the downside B A# G# G A you've got reasons to believe what your eyes will never see B A# G# G A in the hours that debris from the world on your TV {Chorus} E F# B A E the second dimension, is where you are with one eye closed E F# B A E G A never to mention, where it is that time does go {Bridge} E you feel up but you're going down E if you're sinking you will drown E never wanted to believe E this could be your future [solo] (1x Verse Chords) {Chorus} E F# B A E the second dimension, is where you are with one eye closed E F# B A E G F# never to mention, where it is that time does go, so so B A E G F# B A E G F# Thanks for looking! |
