ASLAN
WISH YOU WERE HERE
music & lyrics by Roger Waters
This is a cover of a Pink Floyd number from a few years back.It is
on the 1999 album "Made In Dublin" which was recorded in Vicar Street.
Aslan's version is in my opinion better than the original.
"Tiochaidh Ar L?"

C D
So, so ya think you can tell
Am G D
heaven from hell, blue skies from pain, can ya tell a green field
C Am G
from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do ya think you can tell...
C D Am
did they get you to trade, your heroes for ghosts, hot ashes for trees
G D C
hot air for a cool breeze, cold comfort for change, did you exchange,
Am G
a walk on part in the war, for a lead role in a cage
C D
How I wish, how I wish you were here
Am G
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl
D
Year after year
C
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
Am
The old fears
G
Wish you were here
