another version of Leaf House, not my own tab figured I would share it here though!
here is a standard tuning version of Leaf House. it's in the same key as the album
version, so although it's not how the
band plays it, it's a pretty good fake. maybe some day i'll get the actual version tabbed out.
Leaf House - Animal Collective
Intro:
Em
--7-------7---x---7--x------|
--8-------8---x---8--x------|
--9-------9---x---9--x------| x 4 or so
--9-------9---x---9--x------|
--7-------7---x---7--x------|
------0--------x-------x----|
the Xs indicate striking muted strings, or if you want a more percussive sound you can
sort of lightly slap the strings.
Em Em7
--7-------10--x--10--x---------|
--8-------8---x---8---x--------|
--9-------7---x---7---x--------|
--9-------9---x---9---x--------|
--7-------7---x---7---x--------|
------0--------x-------x-------|
[ Tab from: http://www.guitaretab.com/a/animal-collective/337331.html ]
Next chord, same rhythm:
Bm7
--------2---x---2---x---2---------|
--------3---x---3---x---3---------|
--------2---x---2---x---4---------|
--------4---x---4---x---4---------|
-(2)---2---x---2---x---2----------|
-------------x--------x-----------|
The parentheses indicate an optional note, or in other words, I can't remember if they
play that note or not.
Next:
Am7
--------0---x---0---x---0---------|
--------1---x---1---x---1---------|
--------0---x---0---x---0---------|
--------2---x---2---x---2---------|
-(0)---0---x---0---x---0----------|
-------------x--------x-----------|
Then back to Em:
Em
--------0---x---0---x---0--------|
--------0---x---0---x---0--------|
--------0---x---0---x---0--------|
--------2---x---2---x---2--------|
--------2---x---2---x---2--------|
--(0)-------x--------x-----------|
And then repeat back to Em7 and go through the progression a few times until...
The outro:
G,A,C,D
You can play these chords however you like, but I usually just use barre chords.
And I can't remember exactly what the last chord is during the "Meow/Kitties" chant, but
I think it's probably a GM7 or something.
I hope this helps, and as always, corrections are welcome.
