Amiria Grenell - I Saw A House chords

Highlighted       Show chord diagrams
A neat wee song by a great kiwi artist! Seen this live so it should be reasonably
accurate, also the music video shows her playing in some parts too if you weren’t
certain of any parts (: Enjoy.

Note: The Em7 and G chords in the verses are played without your pinky on the e
string, but rather this note is used as a hammer on in the G chord to get that
nice effect that is heard. This is just my interpretation. The Em7 and G chords
are also hammered on throughout the verses, but it still sounds fine if you find
it too difficult. The chorus changes to bar chords, but open chords sound fine too
if you cannot be bothered :)

Song: I Saw a House
Album: Three Feathers
Artist: Amiria Grenell

Intro: D Em7 / G x4

D Em7 G
I saw a house, up on a hill
D Em7 G
It made me want to explore
D Em7 G
Bright blue window panes, and a brown pointed roof
  D Em7 G
I moved in closer for more
D Em7 G
An little white daisies, sittin on the sidewalk
D Em7 G
Green trees towering hi-igh
D Em7 G
A little brown letterbox, and fairy lights, oh there were lots
D Em7 G
Twinkling against the night sky

CHORUS (Change to bar chords)

Bm G
Is this my dream house?
Bm A G
Please can I venture in
Bm G
Where can I find the key?
Bm A G
Let me in, let me in
Bm A G
Let me in, let me in

D Em7 / G x4

    D Em7 G
The door is opened, I m aloud in
D Em7 G
Big wooden tables, they make me grin
D Em7 G
Perfect pictures hang, just like so
D Em7 G
The photographs sit neatly, all in a row
D Em7 G
Looking inside, a cupboard of good
D Em7 G
Lots of little treasures, placed two by two
D Em7 G
A swing outside underneath the apple tree sky
D Em7 G
I sit at dusk, yeah this is me, that sounds

Let me in, let me in
Bm G
Is this my dream house?
Bm A G
Please can I venture in
Bm G
Where can I find the key?

Let me in, let me in
Bm A G
Let me in, let me in
